Last night saw Twiggy open her portrait exhibition to a select group of London fashionistas, popstars and celebs. Among the stars who gathered to take in the show were Erin O'Connor, Roland Mouret, Matthew Williamson, Lulu and of course 60s supermodel, Twiggy herself.
This London Fashion Week is set to be the biggest ever as we celebrate 25 years of the British Fashion Council. A clutch of Brit designers who had previously defected to other fashion capitals including Burberry Prorsum, Jonathan Saunders, Matthew Williamson and Antonio Berardi will all be back and showing in London this season.
And it's not just big-name designers we're looking forward to seeing this LFW. The capital is preparing itself for an influx of A-listers on the front rows. Alexa Chung will be returning from New York, and we're expecting the likes of Kanye West, Lily Allen and those London lovelies, Daisy Lowe, Kimberly Stewart and Kelly Osbourne to make an appearance. Will Victoria Beckham make it over after conquering NYFW? We very much hope so!
And it seems even politicians aren't able to resist the glamour of the fashion world; London mayor, Boris Johnson will be taking a seat front row at the Caroline Charles show tomorrow... Can we expect to see him wearing a S/S 2010 appropriate look? We'll let you know...
