Lacoste launches RED label
The French sportswear brand is sprucing up our summer wardrobe with a new diffusion line.
The enthusiastic new collection takes the label's trademark sports apparel and revamps it for the more fashion-savvy boys and girls, featuring bolder colours and prints.
Lacoste's creative director Christophe Lemairne has drawn influence from an unlikely source - London's very own Chelsea and Charing Cross. The Chelsea range will see a 60s influence, mixed with clean cuts and fitted tailoring, while the Charing Cross range brings back the 80s with Warhol-esque pop print colours. We're especially loving the new palette for the Ladies boyfriend-fit polo shirts teamed with the chic tailored skirt and shorts.
Also on Lacoste's agenda right now is the Save Your Logo campaign, an initiative to protect crocodiles. Anything you buy from the range will contribute to the fund, so you can wear your croc with pride.
