Kim Kardashian’s latest look is bold, even for her, but you've got to respect the 34-year-old for not conforming to 'maternity style' norms... Don't you?
The queen of selfies, belfies and all things statement went for dinner last night at Craig’s in an outfit worth a cool £2,765.
Her look comprised a tasseled Proenza Schouler skirt (£1,540), a MM6 Maison Margiela satin blazer (£425) and tie-up Tom Ford heels (£800).
In true Kim style, it was pretty revealing; the reality star not being one to conform to the old leg or chest adage. But, though the outfit may not be quite our thing, you’ve got to give her credit for wearing what she wants and not conforming to maternity dressing norms.
If she doesn’t feel like a wrap dress, why should she wear one? Not only is Kim’s pregnancy wardrobe showing no sign of calming down but, at four and a half months down the line, it appears to be getting bolder by the day.
We shy away from anything made from elasticated jersey as a life rule, so good on her for wearing whatever she wants. And surely we've all got better things to do than berate Kim Kardashian for her love of all things bodycon...
Kim has spoken out in the past about her pregnancy style – and it makes us rate her…
1) 'I still want to be chic, wearing heels [...] People are like, ‘You should start wearing flats.' And I'm like, OK, I just went and bought flats for the first time this week and I can't wear them. They're not me. Heels make me feel so good.' (E!)
2) 'Kourtney warned me that when you become a mom or become pregnant, there will be this whole new group of critics that will criticize you for everything you do [...] My theory is, 'happy mommy, happy baby.' So whatever makes me feel good, I want to wear. And I love high heels.' (Good Morning America)
3) 'This is how I have always dressed, and right now I'm wearing anything that fits.' (Grazia)
