Kendall Jenner, Mexican Waves And Achingly Cool Clothes: It Can Only Be Topshop Unique

Kendall Jenner, Mexican Waves And Achingly Cool Clothes: It Can Only Be Topshop Unique

With the starriest of FROW's and dreamiest of clothes, Topshop Unique's AW15 London Fashion Week show did NOT disappoint...

It's one of the hottest tickets on the London Fashion Week schedule so it comes as no surprise that Topshop Unique continues to draw a *very* impressive crowd season after season. However, for its AW15 show held in on one of the glorious exhibition halls in Tate Britain, the high-street label managed to out-do even itself in the celeb stakes with one of the most A-list packed FROW's of Fashion Month so far. And that's no small feat.

Of course, the Brit It pack of style mavens and resident Topshop obsessives turned out in their masses to take up their seat on the front row. The ever-lovely Angela Scanlon was there sporting a killer pair of Topshop x Ashish platform heels while TV presenter Laura Jackson did her thing in a chic pair of white trousers and a retro striped roll neck. Pixie Lott and Paloma Faith sat side-by-side in their full Topshop Unique SS15 attire, posing for photographs and laughing together in the final moments before the show began. Babes.

Emily Ratajkowski, Ellie Goudling and Jourdann Dunn also braved the rain and cold to catch a glimpse of the collection, each one looking as sartorially savvy as you'd expect.

Joining them for a slice of the stylish action were BFF's Alexa Chung, Pixie Geldof and Daisy Lowe who looked their standard Instagram-worthy selves in outfits we're already trying to recreate from the Topshop website... Then, just when we thought they couldn't fit any more celebs on an already jam-packed FROW, in rather casually strolled Kendall Jenner who looked effortlessly cool in a pair of sky blue trousers, a white crop top and a tan shoulder-robed duster coat. Oh, and for those of you who may be wondering; yes. She really does look THAT beautiful in real life. How unfair, huh?

Surely that has to be all of Topshop's connected-strings pulled, right? Not exactly...

Just when we thought it was safe to take our phone's down from eye level for one second in rocked Cara Delevingne [!!!] who slipped in next to her Keeping Up With The Kardashian's pal on the front row bench alongside the brand's founder Sir Phillip Green. After piling in for a selfie or two taken on Alexa's retro camera, the girls were settled and ready for the show to begin; and boy was it worth the 20-minute hold up.

Running with SS15's off-beat '70s trend, Topshop Unique's AW15 collection gave the retro era the much-needed polish it has been missing thus far. From leather pinafores layered over sleek roll-neck knits and shearling trimmed coats, the range kicked things off with a chic, but more importantly, wearable array of looks before transforming into ensembles worthy of Studio 54 in its heyday.

Decadently adorned with sparkling jewels, Unique's black velvet blazer and dresses have shot straight to the top of our glamorous wish-lists, closely followed by tan suits, feather bodice cocktail dresses and super-wide flares. Swoon...

Needless to say, we weren't the only ones smitten with the collection. Alexa Chung made sure to snap her favourite looks on film while Cara whispered into 'Uncle Phil's' ear when something caught her eye. Oh, what we wouldn't give to be a part of that crowd right about now.

As editors, stylists, writers and generally those in the know applauded the models as they came to the end of their final lap, the gorgeous girls on the front line showed their appreciation for the collection in their own very cool way; by Mexican wave, obvs. Check it out in our exclusive video below...

Seriously what does it take to get into this gang? Because we want IN.

After the show, we caught up with a few of the FROWer's to get their verdict on the collection. What will they be snapping up, you ask? All will be revealed...

Alexa Chung: 'I loved the leather pinafore and knitted jumper.'

Pixie Lott: 'I'm obsessed with green so my favourite piece has to be the mint green faux fur coat. It was amazing!'

Angela Scanlon: 'The whole collection was beautiful. That brown suit and the velvet blazer with the embellished hem were my highlights. I'm more of a separates kind of girl and they were all kinds of stunning.'

It looks like we know what to buy when the collection hits the shelves later this year then. Thanks for the heads up, ladies...
