Kate Moss was the recipient of one of the top accolades at last night's British Fashion Awards 2013, as she took home the Special Recognition award.
Kate's fashion friends and colleagues all joined her in celebrating a career in the industry that spans 25 years, and which first began when she was just 14-years old after being spotted by Sarah Doukas of Storm Model Management.
The Croydon-born supermodel chose a textured black leather Alexander McQueen dress for the big occasion, and kept her bare shoulders covered in a cream fur coat. Her blonde hair was artfully mussed, and Kate kept her signature beauty look of a flick of eyeliner and slick of red lipstick.
Topshop boss Philip Green, with whom Kate has collaborated on her sellout high-street collections, was there to support his friend and business partner. While the inimitable Donatella Versace was sat next to Kate for the evening. Speaking about Kate winning the award, Donatella said: 'From the very beginning Kate was iconic; she never had to become a model. She has the same energy, the same seduction and the same wit - infront of the camera and with everyone, I love you Kate!'
Meanwhile, the supermodel and her new BFF, Rita Ora, seemed to be having a good time on the red carpet together, as they giggled arm in arm for photographers.
After the awards, anda quick outfit change, Kate carried on the celebrations with Donatella and Tom Jones at a party for the 60th anniversary of Playboy, for which she is the cover star.
Looks like a fabulous night, for a fabulus model. Congratualtions, Kate!
