Kate Moss turns 40 next January, on 16th to be exact, and to celebrate the supermodel's milestone birthday, artist Russell Marshall is staging an exhibition in her honour.
Entitled Kate Moss: 40 - A Retrospective, the exhibition will feature 10 iconic images of Mossy, charting her career from age 14 through to 39. Each print, all of which are available to buy, come in 10 saturated CYMK colours, meaning there are 100 different variations available.
Marshall, who was once a journalist, has drawn on his knowledge of Moss that he accumulated during his time working on newspapers, to pick the most memorable images of the model.
'"Celebrity" can be short-lived these days' says Marshall, 'but not so with Kate. While other celebs have come and gone... Kate has stayed. Kate's not just a survivor and she's not hanging on to fame. She grows bigger, brighter and more iconic each year.'
The exhibition opens on January 17, and runs until February 15 at the Imitate Modern Gallery, 27a Devonshire Street, London, W1G 6PN.
