Is THIS Kate Middleton's £13.90 Secret To Lasting In High Heels?

The Duchess of Cambridge pops Italian leather insoles in her shoes.

We've long been envious of the way Kate Middleton always manages to look comfortable in heels.

Whether she's opening the new wing of a school, visiting a war memorial or attending an art exhibition, she's never been snapped slipping on flats after hours on her feet.

Kate even rocked high footwear with her outfits and chic hairstyles throughout both of her pregnancies.

If, like us, you can’t wait to swap your courts for sneakers before you leave the office to catch your train home, you’ll be in awe of Kate.

But we’ve found out the secret to Kate’s success with stilettos – and we’re about to share it with you.

The Duchess of Cambridge apparently pops some insoles into her shoes before heading out.

The 33-year-old’s brand of choice is thought to be Alice Bow and she’s rumoured to have stocked up on them during a recent shopping spree in the capital.

‘Kate recently bought several pairs of Alice Bow insoles at the Selfridges department store in London,’ a source is reported to have told US Weekly.

‘She picked up versions of the insole for both flat shoes and heels in an assortment of colours.’

What’s so special about these inserts?

According to the retailer’s website, they are ‘handmade in England from the finest Italian leathers and the best orthopaedic padding this side of Harley Street.’

The statement continues: ‘The only time you'll want to kick your shoes off - is to gaze adoringly at them.'

Although they declined to confirm whether Prince William’s wife is a customer, an Alice Bow spokesperson did suggest that ‘The Kate Effect’ has happened once again.

'There has been talk of the Duchess wearing the insoles, but we cannot comment either way,’ they said.

‘We have seen a massive surge in site visits however.’
