Kate Middleton wore a Seraphine dress for the first portrait with Prince George
Kate Middleton is a source of style inspiration to many, and so when the Duchess of Cambridge wears something, it will no doubt sell out.
The latest label to profit from 'the Kate effect', as it has become known, is the maternity brand Seraphine, which has just opened its third boutique in west London.
'We have been waiting for a long time for a shop to become vacant in Marylebone, and then, finally, it did,' the company's founder and designer, Cecile Reinaud told The Telegraph.
'I think we got bumped to the top of the list because of the Duchess [of Cambridge], who is a big fan of the label.'
During her pregnancy, and after, the Duchess was regularly photographed in pieces from the London-based label. The magenta dress she wore for the first family photo taken with Prince George was by Serpahine, and, predictably, sold out within hours of the picture's release.
But Kate isn't alone for her love of Serpahine's maternity wear: Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson and Angeline Jolie have all been spotted in Reinaud's designs, too.
As the label continues to expand, we're sure we're going to see many more stylish pregnant celebrities getting in on the Seraphine action...
