The 24-year-old model is set to release a collection of both young adults and children's clothes
Jourdan Dunn is one model who looks as great off the catwalk as on, so we're more than a little bit excited to learn that she is set to turn her hand to fashion design.
While her fellow model chums Cara Delevingne and Suki Waterhouse are focusing their talents on acting – Cara in the new thriller Face of an Angel, Suki in Divergent – Jourdan is moving her modelling career on to become a fashion designer.
The 24-year-old has announced plans to create two collections – one for young adults and one for children.
And as mother to five-year-old Riley, who always looks so impeccably dressed on his mum's Instagram feed, we think Jourdan most likely knows a thing or two about stylish kids clothes. And we don't need any convincing that she knows what young adults want to wear – she's their pin up after all.
'I love kid's clothes and have been obsessed with them ever since my son was born', Dunn said, explaining her new career move.
'Through my career in fashion I have come to love and respect great design, and as a mum I also expect great quality and value for money, as well as the coolest clothes for my son, Riley. I am thrilled to be working with Fluid World, and I am looking forward to developing my own collection and turning my ideas into reality.'
No word yet on when we might see either collection, which will include leggings, sweaters, jeans, jackets and accessories, but we'll bring you more news as soon as we have it…
