Jimmy Choo, Charlotte Olympia & Co Have Made Cinderella's Glass Slipper A Reality

Cinderella would *definitely* want to turn back and pick up her glass slipper if it looked anything like this...

From pumpkins that turn into glittering carriages and rags that transform at the flick of a wand into the most swoon-worthy ballgown we've ever seen, it's fair to share that we've still got — and will always have for that matter — a lot of love for Disney's Cinderella

It's hardly a 'spoiler alert' to tell you that Cinderella, of course, gets her prince at the end of the story but if we're being honest, we think the real fairytale ending has to be when Cinders' is reunited with her beautiful glass slipper which she left on the steps of the palace as she fled the ball at midnight. Those shoes, after all, we're the stuff of our six-year-old fashion dreams.

Now, it's clear we're not the only ones who were smitten with Cinderella's heels...

To celebrate the highly-anticipated release of the new live action film Cinderella starring the beaut Lily James, Cate Blanchett, Helena Bonham Carter and eye-candy Richard Madden, Disney has joined forces with nine of the world's most fashionable show designers that have each been tasked to create their own stylish interpretation of the iconic glass slipper.

In a word? A-M-A-ZING.

The design houses up for the challenge are Jimmy Choo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Salvatore Ferragamo, Stuart Weitzman, Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, Jerome Rousseau, Rene Caovilla and Charlotte Olympia — basically every shoe label you'd expect to find in Carrie Bradshaw's walk-in...

Speaking of the special project David Lee, Disney EMEA's Footwear Director said: 'Cinderella’s glass slipper has become a magical symbol of transformation. Each pair of shoes in this exciting global collection captures Cinderella’s elegance and grace through the lens of celebrated designers, making this shoe collection truly fit for a princess.'

That's all of us, then.

All of the finished shoes will be revealed together for the first time within the Cinderella Exhibit at the Berlin Film Festival on Friday, February 13th to co-inside with the film's premiere that evening, both of which InStyle.co.uk are lucky enough to be at! So, you'll definitely want to keep an eye on our Twitter and Instagram feeds on Friday...

We've also been privy to a first-look at the sketches of the designs too, all of which are below. Stunning, aren't they?

If that wasn't enough to send your heart a-flutter, this ought to do it; after their Berlin unveiling, the shoes will be bippity boppity boo-ed over to Harrods in London where you'll actually be able to order a pair of Cinderella's glass slippers of your very own. Yes, sometimes dreams really do come true...
