Jack O'Connell Just Made A Major Mark On The Fashion Industry
Prada

Just when we thought BAFTA 'Rising Star' nominee Jack O'Connell's year couldn't get off to a better start, he's only gone and bagged a Prada campaign. What a man...

If you're unfamiliar with the name Jack O'Connell then, well, you won't be for much longer...

Not only is he the star of Angelina Jolie's highly acclaimed directorial flick Unbroken but he has also only just been nominated for BAFTA's renowned Rising Star award — an honour that has been bestowed on the likes of Kristen Stewart, Shia LaBeouf and James McAvoy in the past. To say that this 24-year-old actor is going places sounds like a bit of an understatement if you ask us.

However, his persona is becoming even more evident off-screen too as his latest role proves.

Jack, who some of you may remember as James Cook from E4's iconic show Skins, has switched rolling film for the camera lens as Prada has just unveiled him as one of the stars of its SS15 menswear campaign. And yes, he looks pretty dreamy to say the least...

Starring alongside fellow Rising Star nom Miles Teller (awks), The Fault In Our Stars heartthrob Ansel Elgort and credited actor Ethan Hawke, Jack cuts a seriously cool figure in a chunky knit roll neck jumper complete with a retro stitched motif, styled with cool woollen trousers and one of Prada's luxury leather hold all's.

Unshaven and with a gaze that includes just the right level of brooding; we don't know about you but we totally wish we were that glass of water right about now.

Speaking of the shoot, Prada said it selected: 'Four of today’s leading men [to] lend their screen presence to an act of photographic forensics.'

So, with major film buzz, a high-profile award nomination and a killer campaign under his belt; we doubt Jack O'Connell could have asked for a better start to 2015. And it's only day eight...

See what all the fuss is about by tuning into our interview Jack on Unbroken below. We may have to wait until February 8th to find out if he's won BAFTA's prize, but we'll gladly play this on loop in the meantime.
