Isabella Blow's colourful and eccentric life has been immortalised in a new book called Blow by Blow. Co-written by husband Detmar Blow and writer Tom Sykes, the book details the various tragedies of Isabella’s life and reveals the deep depression beneath the exterior of glitz and glamour.
It begins with the death of her two-year-old brother, who drowned while in her care - when Isabella was aged just five herself - and ends with her seventh attempt at suicide aged 48 in 2007 when she died from drinking weed killer.
Having launched the careers of Alexander McQueen and Sophie Dahl, this truly fascinating insight into the fashion icon’s life, from those close to her, will no doubt be an utterly captivating read, shedding light on her legendary career but also her personal battles.
The book is released on 2 September - we can't wait to find out more about the First Lady of fashion!
