Cara stars opposite Nat Wolff in Paper Towns, her first major feature film
Cara Delevingne has been looking smoking hot on her current promo tour for Paper Towns, and we’re starting to wonder if the punky tomboy is slowly being replaced with a sleek Hollywood goddess. Cara is walking red carpets worldwide for the upcoming flick, based on the novel from the author of The Fault In Our Stars, and has ditched the backwards cap and trainers for gingham two pieces, sheer dresses and strappy heels. Could this be a new style era for the supermodel? Only time will tell, but for now, we analyse her most recent glam moments.
In the first promo appearance for Paper Towns, Cara sported a checked crop top and shorts by Vatanika, flashing her enviable toned stomach super lean legs with the help of Casadei mesh strap sandals. The tailored shorts are definitely something Cara would have worn before her Hollywood transformation, but that rosy lip and delicate gold jewellery (look verrrry closely) is a hint at the new girly style. If you’re wondering how a co-ord can look so luxe, it’s all in the fabric.
Cara really amped up the glamour in this Mary Katrantzou minidress, the sheer top given some modest by criss-cross maroon paneling and a yellow dogtooth skirt. This is potentially our favourite EVER Cara look, especially with that centre parting and pointed heels.
Things got even more romantic in Paris, as Cara posed with co-star Nat Wolff (can we take a second to appreciate the leopard print blazer?) in front of the Eifel Tower holding a pale pink rose. The Jenny Packham peter-pan collar blouse was adorned with sequins and paired with simple black Elie Saab shorts, as well as triple-strap Nicholas Kirkwood heels – now sold out, naturally.
Back on home turf, Cara headed to Radio 1 in a 70s inspired floral Burberry minidress, topped off with layered gold charm necklaces and tasseled black cut-out heels. The deep v-neck of the dress is a lesson in how to make the low neckline trend acceptable for everyday wear - thank you, bra-strap cover.
Still on home turf, Cara glammed up an all-black London grunge look with glossy locks and girly heels. Cara wore a Saint Laurent military-style blazer with gold buttons, paired with a star-print blouse and super skinny black jeans.
For an appearance on the Graham Norton show, where the actress had an eyebrow-off with Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, Cara swapped the skinny jeans for cut-out leather trousers and a sheer black top – a racy way to do rock’n’roll.
Cara was back in her failsafe Saint Laurent for a Paper Towns promo event in West Hollywood, rocking a leather miniskirt, sheer chiffon blouse and lace up sandals. There was no hint of smudged eyeliner though, Cara’s hair and make-up look was Hollywood glossy.
Wearing a red and white Alexandre Vauthier kimono-inspired ensemble in LA, Cara entered edgy new style territory with the fringed obi belt, strappy sandals and gold clutch. The hint of a gold sequin skirt keep Cara's glam makeover youthful.
