There’s nothing we love more at InStyle HQ than a fashion collaboration and a charitable connection makes it all the better, so when we found out that luxe Italian brand Pinko had teamed up with the global awareness project, Fashion For Development, we were dying to see the results.

Created by Italian designer and Ethical Fashion Ambassador Marina Spadafore, each of the printed totess is inspired by the tribes of the Omo valley, where the 100% African cotton bags are made.
Pinko chairman Pietro Negra revelead; “With our Pinko Bags for Ethiopia we want to relaunch one of our most iconic products. Yet most of all we want to create objects that spark emotion within the customer due to the craftsmanship that has gone into them. I think globalisation can play a valuable role in bringing prosperity to distant cultures, especially if we can use the interest and support of people in the West.”
