Hermès, Liberty, Chace Crawford, scarves, ties

Hermès/Liberty collaboration

There’s nothing like a swanky collaboration to get our shopping heads on, and you can’t get more fabulous than Hermès opening a pop-up boutique full of iconic scarves and ties at Liberty from Monday 7 September until Sunday 18 October.

Even more exciting, the room will be reminiscent of a giant dressing up box. Makes us giddy just thinking about it!

And, unlike a lot of posh boutiques which seem to have an unspoken “look but don’t touch” policy - shoppers will be positively encouraged to actually play with those divine pieces of Hermès silk and experiment with different ways of wearing a scarf. (It’s about more than simply tying it at a jaunty angle around the neck don’t you know?)

To further illustrate the ways of the scarf, there’ll be styling classes and fashion shows.

And for true “scarf spotters” amongst you, there’ll be a humungous installation comprised of hundreds of scarves pieced together which will hang in Liberty’s central atrium.

Naturally Liberty and Hermès have co-created scarves and ties to celebrate their collaboration featuring the gorgeous Liberty micro-floral tana lawn print with the Hermes coach (from their Ex-Libris) design printed over the top.

You won’t have to re-mortgage your flat either – scarf prices start from £80 and ties £95.
