Louis Vuitton celebrated their 125-year association with London with the star-studded New Bond Street Maison Opening.
The opening of the New Bond Street Maison was marked by one very cool party. The world’s leading luxury brand decided to create an atmosphere where guests walked around a maze of rooms created by architect Peter Marino to collect different emotions and experiences.
One room was completely transformed into a forest with a gypsy tent for guest to lounge while in another Pablo Bronstein, a young artist currently showing at the Tate Britain, created a new performance piece entitled Luggage Ballet, which showcased some of Louis Vuitton’s trademark suitcases.
Fashion was very glamorous and absolutely stunning. Gwyneth Paltrow wore a very sexy Louis Vuitton Cruise 2011 keyhole dress that completely stole the show and Elle Macpherson struck a pose in a white shift dress that showed off the amazing body and sun-kissed legs.
The guest list included the likes of Elle Macpherson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Daisy Lowe, Alexa Chung, Thandie Newton, Kirsten Dunst, Natalia Vodianova, Dominic Cooper and of course the genius behind the label, Marc Jacobs.
Louis Vuitton New Bond Street Maison will open its doors to the public on the 28 May 2010. We cant wait to see it!
