Even die-hard leather lovers have the hots for Stella McCartney’s towering vegan heels and Natalie Portman’s gorgeous ethical Te Casan shoes. And now high-end eco-footwear brand Beyond Skin is creating a leather-free buzz...
Online ethical label Beyond Skin has been a hit with eco chicsters for the past six years. And thanks to a new collaboration with hip fashion emporium Anthropologie, its shoes have now hit the mainstream.
Head over to Anthropologie’s Regent Street store (020 7529 9800) to grab a pair of on-trend and oh-so comfy ballet pumps. Priced at an reassuringly affordable £68 and made out of Traid Remade sourced vintage fabrics, the shoes are beyond cute. And March sees the S/S 2010 range of even more fabulous flats – in delicious colours – flooding the store.
As well as perfectly pretty and practical pumps, Beyond Skin also does glam heels brilliantly – our fave fashionista Cheryl Cole has already stepped out in a pair of its sky-high, super-sleek Saphire heels, left, £185, from the label’s stunning S/S 2010 evening range.
Psst! – check out the great sale at beyondskin.co.uk. With 30% off the A/W 2009 range and a whopping 50% off the previous season’s line until the end of January, it’s a shoe-in you’ll be in high-heel heaven.
