M&S have really pulled it out of the bag with their stylish new collection, and are set to be the go-to store for all your big events next season as well as for revamping your work wardrobe.
Ladylike glamour is the theme for their mix of on-trend tailoring – including the perfect city shorts – to on-trend nude pieces, which make the underwear as outerwear trend effortlessly wearable. Neil Handy, Head of Design suggests an ultra-feminine influence on the collection: "This season we have seen a return to a softer, romantic look. Silhouettes are relaxed and colour palettes are a beautiful mix of chalky pastels with bold bright highlights.”
We predict that their Black Tulle Dress with luxurious fan detail will be a sell-out. It’s red carpet–tastic and reasonably priced to boot at £49.50. It will be available in store from May – get there early though, we predict you’ll be queuing round the block!
High-fashion pieces like the Stella McCartney inspired jumpsuit are must-haves for next season. It’s a stand-out stunner, and will look perfect teamed with a military detail jacket and some killer heels (in store date TBA).
A statement jacket is a must for next season, and M&S has us spoilt for choice. We love their Raspberry Trench, the colour pop hue is a fantastic twist on the classic trend and their Lace Blazer combines next season’s masculine and feminine trends seamlessly. Both will be available from May in store.
