Georgia May Jagger Takes Over From Cara As Mulberry's New Girl

After several seasons at the Mulberry helm, Cara's best pal Georgia has stepped in to fill her shoes

Like any good friends, Georgia May Jagger and Cara Delevingne share a lot of things: clothes, a house… the same career.

And now they can both put 'face of Mulberry' on their resepctive CVs, as Georgia May has landed a new ad campaign with the brand. For the past few seasons it has been Cara who has represented the label – and even created her own line of bags. But now it's Georgia's turn and, from the look of these new photos, we think she's a brilliant fit for the British fashion brand. Although that's not to say we won't be seeing further collaborations between Cara and Mulberry in the future...

Maintaining its quintessentially British personality, the spring summer 2015 campaign aims to capture the 'sheer joy of an English country garden on a summer's day.'

As such, it was shot by Inez and Vinoodh in a rambling country house with Georgia posing among a collection of eccentric English and fashion shoot paraphernalia.

Of course, the real star of the show is the new Delphie bag – which can be flipped to reveal a new colour and leather option on the other side (did someone say two for the price of one?) although its very nearly upstaged by Georgia's bedhead bouffant.

But Georgia isn't the only model with great hair to join the Mulberry family – Cressida Bonas was also recently named as the star of the label's new film, which will be released in March.

Looks like it's going to be a good year for Mulbs...
