Friday at Paris Fashion Week kicked off with a killer show - the second collection for Loewe from London-based designer J.W. Anderson. One of Team InStyle is seriously considering digging out her mum's oversized cropped leather jacket from the Eighties after seeing similar ones in this collection, and everything was styled with cool slicked back hair and sunglasses. Nice work, J-Dubs.
John Galliano's Margeila
Following a smaller collection shown in London in January, John Galliano returned to the Paris catwalk with his a/w2015 offering for Maison Margiela. The quirky collection was well received but despite the audience's best efforts to coax the disgraced designer out for a bow (there were chants of "John! John!"), he stayed firmly put backstage.
Perhaps it was to match the models in the Balenciaga show, or maybe she just didn't want to match a certain other platinum blonde celebrity that's been causing a stir in Paris (we're talking to you, Kim K) but whatever the reason, Lady Gaga joined the hair transformation brigade yesterday. She left her hotel blonde, but by the time she arrived at the Balenciaga show she was sporting raven locks. Who knows what colour her hair will be today...
DVF loves our outfits
Team InStyle had the pleasure of meeting Diane Von Furstenberg yesterday, who was rather taken with our outfits (click here to see our gallery). "I love the British because they wear colour" she said. We were certainly VERY colourful yesterday!
Shiny shiny boots of leather
One of the hottest tickets of Paris fashion week is Dior, and Raf Simons treated us to another stellar collection. The highlight for us was the shiny boots with coloured perspex heels. The FROW was pretty special too, and included Olivia Palermo, Hailee Steinfeld and 50 Shades actress Dakota Johnson, as well as Kanye West hanging out with Lordes (obvs).
