For most of us, the Christmas holidays are a way to catch up on some serious slob time. The sofa quickly becomes your best friend, and hours often become lost during a back-to-back TV marathon. 1. Dior & I

No holiday would be complete without an old-school movie or two, and for us Funny Face takes the biscuit. If you’re looking for an afternoon filled with colour, excitement and wonder then call off the search.  Following the life of the extraordinarily cheerful 80-year-old veteran New York fashion photographer Bill Cunningham, this street-style focused fashion film chronicles a man who is obsessively interested documenting the way people dress.

6. Coco Before Chanel

Ever wondered what life was like for Gabrielle Chanel before she found her calling? Then this is the movie for you. Staring Audrey Tatou this picturesque movie portrays the life of a young seamstress’s from obscure beginnings of an orphanage to the heights of the fashion world.

7. Iris

She may be well into her ninties, but that hasn’t stopped the ever-eccentric Iris from slowing down. Sitting front row during fashion week in some of the most bonkers outfits we’ve seen since Anna Dello Russo, this lovable documentary will have you falling head over heels in love with the quick-witted creative style maven.

8. Annie Hall

For those of you in love with the 70’s revival happening in fashion land then Annie Hall is the movie for you. Staring Diane Keeton and Woody Allen, expect a classic romantic comedy packed with enviable androgynous inspired outfits. 9. Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead

Don’t be fooled by the title. This awesome 80s movie depicts the tale of a teenage Christina Applegate forced to find a job in fashion to make ends meet after the elderly babysitter hired to take care of her and her siblings accidentally exits stage right. From power suits to shoulder pads and big, big hair, it’s well worth a watch.

10. Clueless

Bestowing possible the best ‘90s outfit inspiration, not to mention the automated closet of our dreams, nothing comes close to a fun fashion film like Clueless. From the tartan miniskirts to above-the-knee socks, these shopping-savvy teens provide the ultimate style solutions if the festive period has you feeling ‘ensembly challenged’.
