Fashion and music reign at Lovebox

80s gods Duran Duran stole the show at the Lovebox Weekender.

So it was another wet affair at Lovebox Weekender but despite the scattered showers thousands flocked to Victoria Park to see the likes of Dove, Florence and the Machine, Ladyhawke, N.E.R.D and headliners Duran Duran and Groove Armada.

The rain miraculously stopped on Saturday just as Duran Duran hit the stage with their rendition of "Hold Back the Rain". They went on to perform a two hour set, delivering classics like "Notorious", "Wild Boys" and "Girls on Film". Music producer Mark Ronson joined the lads for a special guest appearance and performed a show-stopping encore.

Other highlights included Florence and the Machine, who lifted spirits with her bellowing voice and feather and pleather outfit. N.E.R.D's Pharell Williams and crew rocked the crowd, while the Secretsundaze area stole the show on the rave front with the too-cool-for-school crowd dancing until closing. The original stars to start Lovebox, Groove Armada, delivered once again with new vocalist Saint Saviour boosting the show. Despite claims they won't be returning to perform next year, the great reception might change their minds!

And which celebrities were winning in the style stakes? It has to be father-daughter duo Simon and Amber Le Bon. Dressed in matching Lacoste trilbies and checked jackets, Duran Duran's Simon Le Bon showed he still has what it takes!
