Ashish's latest collaboration for Topshop, entitled Beach Please!, has landed in stores, and if there's one piece that everyone's going to want to get their mitts on, it's surely going to be the light-up leather trainers so loved by the A-list.
Lily Allen stepped out in hers again last night, for a visit to celeb night spot du jour, the Chiltern Firehouse. Clearly there's no stipulation in the dress code that bans LED sneakers, which is just as well. And Ellie Goulding and Katy Perry have been wearing there's for months.
But with a £300 price tag, it's quite possible that you might not want spend that much hard-earned cash on an item that could (read: will) prove to be a short-lived trend.
Still, if you really want light-up treads (and can't remember them the first time round), then £200 will get you a pair of LED leather slides.
So if you're sure the novelty won't wear off faster than you can say #90snostalgia, then we say get down to Topshop now...
