In the latest instalment of their DIY Project – a fashion campaign in which models are given digital cameras and a bag of clothes to shoot and style themselves in – rag & bone have enlisted the help of veteran models Erin O’Connor and Kirsty Hume to showcase their sartorial offerings.
Erin chose a Victorian house in south London as the location for her shoot, and got her best friend and agent Tori Edwards to photograph her.
Erin looks effortlessly cool in a simple cobalt blue T-shirt and brilliant white jeans on her bike, and equally as fabulous in a casual shirt and smouldering make-up.
“I wanted to keep the images raw and real but also liked the idea of adding a bit of traditional British tradition as a backdrop,” Erin said of the photos, adding; “We took the images listening to the Great Gatsby soundtrack as we felt it perfectly echoed the eccentricity of the moment and the atmosphere of where we were shooting.”
Meanwhile, Kirsty Hume shows us that models enjoy a plate of delicious spaghetti as much as the next girl, as she tucks into her lunch. Maybe they’re just better at not getting tomato sauce on their white shirts. OM
