Emma Watson didn't need to prove to us that she was queen of British style – we've long been fans of her take on chic androgyny – but last night her status as the nation's most fashionable was cemented when she was awarded with the much coveted British Style gong.
The Bling Ring star beat off stiff competition from the likes of Kate Moss, Amal Clooney and Keira Knightley to take home the award, which was voted for by the public. Just goes to show how far Ms Watson has come since her Harry Potter days.
And while we were smitten with Emma's ultra cool wide-legged white halter neck by Misha Nonoo (which she stylishly covered up with a navy mannish overcoat for the outdoor bits), we couldn't take our eyes off how good she looked next to Harry Styles, who presented the actress with the award.
And it looks like we weren't the only ones as Twitter went into meltdown at how cute the couple were, with even the most staunch Harry Styles fans deeming it OK for the One Direction-er to start dating Emma.
'I would be so happy if Harry Styles was to date a woman as strong, intelligent, talented and beautiful as Emma Watson, wrote one user.
Emma herself sounded a bit starstruck as she quipped on stage that 'Harry Styles just said the words, ‘He for She,’ so that’s really cool', referring to her ground-breaking campaign for gender equality.
Hollywood actress, UN Goodwill Ambassador and now certified Style Icon. If 2014 belongs to anyone, it's Emma Watson.
