French fashion house Dior will team up with iconic London department store Harrods as part of a month-long store takeover.

Opened to the public from 16 March until 14 April 2013, the takeover will include exclusive products, in-store exhibitions and a 50-seat café which will serve Dior cupcakes and lobster sandwiches.
All windows of the department store are set to be transformed and will pay homage to Britain’s cultural icons. Giving a nod to the typical British weather, bottles of J’adore perfume will rain down in one window, while London telephone boxes, Queen’s guard booths and a tribute to the royal family will also be featured.

In store, shoppers will be able to view miniaturised couture dresses created by the seamstresses in Dior’s Avenue Montaigne ateliers, see the world preview of new perfume Gris Montaigne and gowns worn by many of the fashion label’s celebrity followers, including Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn and
