The 43-year-old supermodel who shot to fame in the '90s can be seen in the brands extensive range of images smiling, dancing and looking generally incredible alongside a host of other models dressed in Medieval-themed attire - the inspiration behind their forthcoming collection. Styled in everything from a printed maxi complete with ornate crown headpiece, to the ultimate LBD, Claudia shines in every single shot, echoing the fun yet sophisticated ethos of the brand beautifully.
The campaign, which was shot by Domenico Dolce and artistically directed by Stefano Gabbana (talk about a dream team, huh?) is the first time the model has represented the fashion brand since 2009 and, while she has had other modelling roles in between, this latest campaign has to be her most high-profile in recent years. What's more, she's not the only one from the 'super' days to land herself a hot new role for Autumn/Winter...
Offbeat design house Moschino have also bagged one of the original supermodels to from their AW14 campaign, and it's none other than Linda Evangelista; one of the most successful models of all time. It's the first ad to come from the direction of the brand's new creative director, Jeremy Scott, who took the helm of Moschino in October 2013, and we reckon the fit between model and designer is perfect.
Homing in on Moschino's '80s roots, it seems only fitting that they've taken the most iconic model of that era and used the 49-year-old to give extra polish to their quirky moc-Donalds collection. The clash between the brash branding and the overall look they've given Linda creates a distinctive contrast, making the campaign - shot by Steven Meisel - and the collection all the more eclectic.
While Claudia and Linda practically defined what modelling is today, it's clear to see that they've come back in a big way for AW14, making next season officially the reprieve of the 'super'.
