The renowned photographer has selected images from his archive to go on display next year
David Bailey - one of fashion's best known photographers – has chosen 250 photographs to appear in one of the biggest photography exhibitions ever to be held at the National Portrait Gallery.
Bailey has delved into his archive and picked images that span a range of themes and subjects, from portraits of The Rolling Stones to reportage in support of Band Aid in 1985.
Among unseen photographs that will be on display at the exhibition, sponsored by Hugo Boss, is a portrait of supermodel Kate Moss as well as images captured from Bailey's travel in India.
The exhibition will be called Stardust, after Bailey's favourite song by Hoagy Carmichael. BK
Bailey's Stardust is on at the National Portrait Gallery from 6 February until 1 June 2014. Tickets are available to buy now.
