Up until now, Cressida Bonas has been best known as the on-again, off-again – currently off-again – girlfriend of Prince Harry.
But that's all set to change since the budding actress and dancer has been unveiled as the star of Mulberry's new video.
The 26-year-old's new foray into the fashion world was unveiled in LA over the weekend ahead of the Golden Globes. And Cressida's fellow Brits came out in force to support her at the preview of the new short film, most notably fellow Mulberry girl and aspiring actor Cara Delevingne (who also took the opportunity to plug her latest accessories line for the brand by wearing one of her own Mulberry quilted rucksack with her mesh midi dress).
In the film, which will be unveiled in March, Cressida gets to show off the dance talent she honed at the University of Leeds.
'I think it was just about being free and happy, and having fun,' Cressida told Yahoo Style of the film.
'The idea was, "dance as if you're dancing in your kitchen." It was more about a dance that was improvised, and not all about the steps. It was really just about having fun!'
Cressida follows in the footsteps of Alexa Chung and Kate Moss as a Mulberry girl. And it certainly doesn't hurt to have a top design house in favour when you're making your debut at awards season. Cressida got to wear not one but two Mulberry dresses as she hit the Golden Globes after party on Sunday night. Watch this space – something tells us we're going to be seeing a lot more of Cressida…
