After three years designing the cool Versus line for Versace, Christopher Kane is stepping down.
The British fahsion designer has worked on Versace's fun sister- line for the past six seasons.
The designer is leaving to work on his own fashion line and has the support of Donatella Versace.
Thanking Christopher for his work at Versace, Donatella said: “Working with young talented people, and seeing them grow and develop as I have seen Christopher do over these years, is one of the most rewarding parts of my work. I wish him all the best for the development of his own line. He will always have my total support.”
We’re super excited to see how Christopher’s own fashion line develops, but after six seasons of textured dresses, fun knits and cool prints, we’re sure lots of fashion fans will be sad to see him leave Versus.
The Versace collaboration will be replaced by a series of capsule collections from a selection of young designers.
