The designer told us exclusively what an honour it was to receive the accolade at the InStyle-sponsored event in Glasgow, where he was joined by fellow designers in the running, including Jonathan Saunders and Holly Fulton.
Also working the red carpet were Dionne Bromfield, who sported a feather-hemmed frock by Fulton for her on-stage performance, Tali Lennox, who was crowned Model of the Year in a gorgeous Nicholas Oakwell gown, Doctor Who beauty Karen Gillan, who scooped the Scottish Fashion Icon award, legendary model Stella Tennant, who was inducted into the Scottish Fashion Awards Hall of Fame, and stunning male model David Gandy, who provided some serious eye candy.
