At first glance it looked like Marion was balancing on a pair of bumpy marble pillars... But on closer inspection we realised Marion was modelling John Galliano's tribal tribute heels for Dior. Galliano's vision for Christian Diors' SS09 collection was hugely influenced by the glamazonian era of the late 80s with tribal references to Parisian designers Azzedine Alaia and Jean Paul Gaultier. The pregnant figurine that Marion elegantly teeters on is artfully structured creating quite the monumental piece.
And, it's not just Marion that's braved these dizzying heights, leggy Mischa Barton stepped out in the very same heels back in September while attending the Dior show in Paris. So, who knows, maybe it won't be long before our favourite high street stores are stocking up on sculptured shoes and we too can parade pregnant heels in style.
