The Chanel Paris Fashion Week shows never fail to disappoint, but this year's was something else. Karl Lagerfeld must have been watching re-runs of Supermarket Sweep for his shopping centre-inspired set, as he sent models meandering through shopping aisles, complete with baskets in their hands. The only person missing was Dale Winton.
As expected, Cara Delevingne was the star of the show, although she almost ran the risk of being upstaged by new catwalk darling, Kendall Jenner. In just a month, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has gone from TV personality to Chanel catwalk queen. That's not bad going.
Supporting Ms Delevingne from the FROW was best pal Rihanna, as well as rumoured girlfriend Michelle Rodriguez. Chanel face, and star of Lagerfeld's short film, Keira Knightley was also sat on the sidelines, alongside a host of other A-list stars.
There was something a little bit late night booze run about the show, as Cara shopped for bottles of liquor wearing ripped neon leggings and trainers, keeping warm with a colourful Chanel tweed coat.
Yep, those Chanel trainers were back. After Karl Lagerfeld sent them down his couture runway in January, they've been at the top of everyon'e wish list. Perhaps the ready-to-wear versions will be slightly less eye-wateringly expensive, although they're definitely going to cost more than a pair of New Balance.
