Welcome back Cara and that's a niche hat Pharrell, mate!

Chanel’s Metiers D’Art 2017 took place last night in the glitziest of surroundings, The Ritz, Paris. In case you are wondering 'WTF is ‘Metiers D’Art,’ it's one of two collections a year that Chanel uses to showcase the brand’s core DNA with the biannual shows representing the house’s most prevalent inspirations. Aside from the small matter of the clothes, there were five stars of the show, including a triumphant runway return by Cara Delevingne. Plot spoiler: there’s tonnes of tweed and a sprinkling of Eiffel tower motifs.

Cara Came Out Of Retirement

You can’t keep a good girl down. Opening the show in an ivory floral decorated tweed skirt suit before returning in a black tweed ensemble, the model turned actress certainly didn’t appear to have lost her walk.

Pharrell Sashayed For His Life

Who said that pearl necklaces were just for ladies, and old ladies at that? Pharrell Williams proved that they could be equally masculine (well, sorta!). The bold choice of accessories for his navy tweed look didn’t stop there, he added a rather niche headpiece. You know, just because.

Lily Rose Depp Made Her Debut

The daughter of Johnny and Vanessa skipped from the FROW to the runway to make her runway debut in a gold crop top with matching skirt. The crop top has never looked so damn classy.

Sofia Richie Got CC Certified

Lily Rose wasn’t the only celebrity offspring to make her mark, daughter of Lionel and sister to Nicole, Sofia Richie worked the oversized floral adornments in the most sophisticated of manners. Coco herself would approve.

Puff Daddy

Well, actually the rapper wasn’t there but the puffa jacket’s renaissance is set to continue if Karl Lagerfeld has anything to do with it. Showcasing multiple puffas in Chanel’s trademark tweed, these coats are not made for the elements. They are more a utility coat for lounging in whilst, safely, very much indoors.
