Calvin Klein is the latest brand to use Instagram as the platform for its new interactive ad campaign.
And the label is cashing in not only on our love of a bit of nostalgia, but also our penchant for taking selfies.
Using the hashtag #mycalvins, the brand is encouraging the public, and celebrities, to show off their Calvin Klein waistbands a la Brooke Shields circa 1981, by taking photos of themselves and sharing with the fashion-adoring public.
So far, Miranda Kerr has caused the biggest stir with her sexy selfie in which she shows off her toned midriff, and, of course, a glimpse of her Calvin waistband. At last count, her picture had almost 175,000 likes on Instagram.
The American label has also enlisted the help of Poppy Delevinge, Lara Stone and Fergie (of the Black Eyed Peas, rather than the Royals), to show off their undies as part of the campaign.
If you've got some old school Calvins to crack out, and want to show them off to the users of Instagram, you know what to do…
