Caitlyn Jenner is making her presence felt in the modelling world. Fact.
First came the announcement that she was to be the new face of MAC cosmetics, and now it seems that the transgender star has her sights set on conquering the fashion world when it was confirmed earlier in the year that she was to front H&M’s forthcoming AW16 sportswear campaign.
Launching in stores and online July 21st, the For Every Victory sports collection will feature Caitlyn together with a host of other inspirational personalities who have all achieved their own victories, be it through sport or personal experiences.
Developed in collaboration with the Swedish Olympic Team, the collection includes high performance T-shirts, running shorts, leggings and sports bras in quick-drying, breathable materials to help optimise performance.
When the news broke earlier in the year that Caitlyn was to front the For Every Victory line, the a former Olympic decathlete and gold medallist took to Instagram to celebrate:

This decision by H&M to make Caitlyn the face of their new range comes quickly after the inclusion of transgender model Andreja Pejic in their recent Studio catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week, and demonstrates the brand’s initiative to fully embrace diversity.
H&M were quick to show their support for the campaign, with a spokesperson for the brand stating:
‘For H&M it is important to show diversity and a range of personalities in everything we do. We have picked Caitlyn Jenner, one of the world’s most celebrated athletes, as part of this H&M Sports campaign because we want to illustrate that everything is possible – in sports, and in life. It is a collection of performance sportswear made to celebrate individuality and self-belief.’
The Swedish brand has a long history of celebrity collaborations including campaigns with the likes of David Beckham and Beyoncé, so reality star Caitlyn will be in good company.
And let’s not forget of course daughter Kendall Jenner's association with H&M as the face of their Balmain x H&M collection. Remember THAT range that broke the internet? How could we not.
We wish Caitlyn all the very best with this exciting new venture, and look forward to seeing the range in full. We'll keep you posted.
