Each frock is handmade from recycled Fashion Targets Breast Cancer T-shirts by social enterprise projects in Cape Town and London. Yep, it’s the double E’s: ethical and environmentally-friendly. Hurrah!
The finger-on-the-pulse cool monochrome number was previewed at London Fashion Week recently and is made by Goodone - a fashion design company renowned for its unique clothing made from hand-picked, locally-sourced, recycled fabrics.
“We’re thrilled to not only be reusing past T-Shirts from this charity fashion campaign in an innovative, fresh way, but at the same time to be helping raise vital funds for the crucial work of Breakthrough Breast Cancer,” says Nin Castle, Goodone’s Creative Director.
The dress will be available to buy from 7 April. We can feel our credit cards twitching already.
