It's that time of year again when the British Fashion Awards tell us who's-who in style and design, and while Stella McCartney received the night's ultimate accolade of Best Designer, Alexa Chung and Cara Delevingne were able to bask in their own stylish glory.
After racking up more runway appearances than any other model at the SS13 fashion shows, it was only right that Burberry gal Cara be named Model of the Year. To receive her gong from fashion photog Ellen von Unwerth, Ms Delevingne showed off her catwalk-worthy assets in a super-short metallic mini by Burberry and matching silver wedges.

Alexa scored the only prize voted for by the general public - the British Style brought to you by Vodafone award, for the third year running, beating off competition from the likes of Victoria Beckham and Carey Mulligan. She took to the stage to receive it from Mr Valentino, and had no trouble proving her deservedness of the accolade, championing Brit design in a lace dress by up-and-comer Simone Rocha, embroidered floral shoe boots from Best Accessory Designer Nicholas Kirkwood, and for a classic finishing flourish, added a Anya Hindmarch lady bag.
