High street heroes, right this way
If you thought celebrity parties were all high-end designers and priceless jewels, think again. There’s definitely a LOT of designer clobber, but the high street holds its own when it comes to giving us style inspo, as these A-listers prove.
TV presenter and radio DJ Zoe Hardman wore a River Island jumpsit and shoes and the All Saints leather jacket she lives in, and she isn't the only one crushing on the British High Street.
“I’m too scared to wear Saint Laurent in case I spill something on it” said Emily Atack, who you’ll know as Charotte in The InBetweeners. Wearing head-to-toe Topshop for the InStyle EE Rising Star Party ahead of the BAFTAs, Emily revealed her style secrets: “I’m a high street girl at heart”. Her plunging maroon jumpsuit is giving us serious 70s inspo…
Our Project 13 winners Fleur De Force and Robin James also represented the Great British High Street: Fleur was working a Karen Millen leather skirt with a Self Portrait top – her look was actually a last-minute steal, and she was out all day with nothing to wear. A trip to Selfridges sorted her out, luckily.
Robin James is wearing River Island Man – and a SERIOUS quiff. His regret of the night? That ASOS knitted roll-neck jumper is pretty warm…
Props to Maisie Williams for also representing British fashion with her stunning Preen number. See all the red-carpet dresses at the InStyle EE Rising Star party right here.
