Alice Temperley Designs Debut Somerset Lingerie Collection For John Lewis

Alice Temperley tops up her exclusive John Lewis collection with first lingerie and nightwear line

Alice Temperley has taken her relationship with John Lewis to the next level, designing her debut Somerset by Alice Temperley lingerie line exclusively for the high-street store.

The 23-piece collection will see the British designer take her first step into lingerie and nightwear, and is said to be inspired by Japanese prints and the iconic ‘Le Smoking’ tuxedo suit – complete with a touch of the signature vintage style that runs through the Temperley brand.

Somerset lingerie will include four balconette bra and classic knicker sets, available in silk scallop style, vintage lace and the new ‘Night Floral’ print designed by Alice. The collection’s piece de resistance comes courtesy of a black sleeveless jumpsuit with ivory piping on the tux-style lapels, costing £145.

Nightwear options are also luxe enough to double as loungewear, including hints of masculine tailoring alongside elegant kimono gowns and vintage French boudoir-style camisoles.

The only question is… which piece to buy first?! JB
