Alex Monroe garden exhibition

Alex Monroe

Alex Monroe’s bumble bee pendant is more or less compulsory wear at the InStyle office.  So the news that our favourite jewellery designer is exhibiting a new collection along with a brand new bee has caused frenzied excitement at InStyle towers.

The latest collection features a delicate gold pea pod and a tiny watering can complete with water droplet. Inspired by ‘The Gardener’ a book that Alex himself has written, the collection is a reflection of the hazy summer days that Alex spends pottering around his Dulwich allotment.

If, like all of us at InStyle, you are itching to get your green fingers on these beautiful pieces, before they are available in September, never fear. Select items are available to buy at the Covent Garden Penhaligon’s until Sunday 18th July.

Displayed on tiny tree stumps amid miniature flower beds you will no doubt fall in love with this garden of delightful jewellery.

‘The Gardener’ exhibition runs from 11th to 18th July at Penhaligon’s Covent Garden, 41 Wellington street, London, WC2E 7BN.

NB: Keep your eyes peeled for Penhaligon’s new fragrance in collaboration with Alex Monroe, due to launch later this year.
