Manolo Blahnik's Film Premiere Was As Chic As You'd Imagine And Filled With Amazing Shoes

Last night saw the premiere of the new documentary showcasing the life, inspiration and creativity of one of our favourite designers, Manolo Blahnik - Manolo: The Boy Who Made Shoes For Lizards. The premiere was set at the Curzon Bloomsbury and featured some of fashion's most famous faces who took a break from the glamorous catwalks of London Fashion Week to attend the screening.

The film invites viewers into a personal and insightful look into the elusive shoemaker and the process and inspiration involved in his creations. With director - and close friend of Blahnik's - Michael Roberts directing the film, it's no surprise that the film is a glimpse into Blahnik's life that few have had before. Along with this, the film features interviews from some of the biggest players in fashion - such as Vogue's Anna Wintour - who all turned up to show their support of the designer at the premiere.

Including of course Mr Blahnik himself, the event also included names such as Wintour, Suzy Menkes, Giovanna Bataglia Englebert and Charlotte Olympia. Scroll below to see the glamorous event in action.
