It’s more than a practiced art, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has an airport uniform; skinny jeans, silk blouse or t-shirt, jacket and, more often than not, a heeled ankle boot.
With the British weather at its most changeable and our diaries at their most busy, we’re all about versatile, day-to-night outfits. And Rosie’s latest off-duty look is just that.
Though she normally opts for something smarter, a leather jacket or kimono, but we like this laidback bomber. Though Rosie’s dreamy jacket is Saint Laurent, we’ve found a bargain version at New Look for only £34.99.
She has layered it over pretty much the most versatile and timeless jersey basic, ever. While a white t-shirt can look a little stark and sporty, grey marl can be worn with jeans and heels for a smart casual look. It can also be worn with mom jeans and sneakers, to the gym, around the house… Pretty much anywhere. Rosie’s is from Isabel Marant Etoile, but we’ve tracked down an (almost) equally luxe style from Cos; our high street go-to for seriously soft basics with the perfect amount of drape.
As the face of the Paige jeans campaign, it’s not surprising Rosie is often seen out in the denim brand; particularly skinny, distressed styles like the Verdugo Black Shadow Deconstructed. Though it’s always worth investing in a good pair of jeans, the high street have an impressive range. Topshop is a reliable go-to, with pairs starting £40. We like the Leigh style for a classic, skinny fit.
Rosie loves her Gianvito Rossi open-toed ankle boots, especially with skinny jeans, and a good thing is – though you lose a little luxe – you can find similar pairs on the high street. This Office pair have a sensible heel, so you can wear them all day long, and only £68.
Finishing her look, as all A-listers do, Rosie’s got a pair of big Stella McCartney sunglasses. The cat-eye shape is big this season, and we’ve found a pair at chic British sunglasses brand Taylor Morris.
Now, all you need is another holiday booked…
