Kate Bosworth is one of our summer style icons. There are not many celebs we keep a close eye on for reliable styling inspiration, on and off the red carpet, but the actress does have a repertoire of on trend, effortlessly cool looks.

Her sartorial options have always been covetable, but this summer we’ve been getting particular outfit envy. From dungarees to denim culottes, her wardrobe ticks all of SS15’s biggest trend boxes.

Her latest look is the best yet. Layering a white dungaree dress with a high neck Victoriana peasant blouse, and pairing with Chloe’s sandals of the season; the wedge gladiator.

Dungarees have been a favourite of those in the sartorial know for the last few seasons, but the dungaree dress took off for spring summer with bloggers layering them over everything from roll neck jumpers to oxford shirts.

Peasant blouses are one of the biggest catwalk trends this season. Seen everywhere from Chloe to Alberta Ferretti, the day-to-night hero piece comes in a range of guises. Though embroidered Bohemian styles get our vote for holiday packing, Victoriana blouses – like Kate’s - are more versatile for dressing up and layering.

Gladiator sandals are our footwear de choix right now. In fact, they have been since fashion week when we spied the suede beauts at Chloe, the skinnier styles at Valentino and tie ups at Stella- to name but a few.

With Kate’s sandals alone coming in at over £600, you’re looking at quite a price tag to recreate her whole look. So, we’ve trawled the high street for similar pieces you can buy without bankrupting yourself...
