Boots trends and styles are bigger and better then ever this season and, to be honest, we aren't be wearing much else on our feet. We’ve studied every catwalk show to give you the lowdown on which boot trends you need to know and buy.

Sock Boots

You may have noticed that sock boots aren't going anywhere. Balenciaga and Vetement led the way with a super exaggerated stiletto sock style for their AW17 runway shows. While, previously, we saw lots of neoprene and leather, this time we’re really into the knitted styles that we’ve seen hitting the high street from Russell & Bromley and Zara, as these are super-tight round the ankle, they look seriously striking under a cropped straight leg jean or trouser.

White Boots

London Fashion Week proved that white boots are having serious moment. It was hard not to spot the sea of them dashing about from show to show, and they look super chic. Coming in all styles from Off_White’s thigh-high “for walking” pair to Gianvitto Rossi’s super-simple block heeled ankle boots. These babies will give your denim the fashion update it much needs.

There’s also no doubt red boots are the other chosen colour of the season, for these you can shop a whole 16 of them here.

Kitten Heels

My personal favourite style this season. I instantly fell in love with the ickle heels from Loewe and Isabel Marant as not only are they super-chic, you can walk around all day in these comfortably. Best as an ankle boot, you'll find this trend everywhere from Manolo Blahnik to Topshop, with all price points covered.

Heavy Duty Biker Boots

Some serious stomping went on at a lot of the runway shows for AW17. From Prada to Valentino, these bad boys were made for walking. Think chunky buckles, thick soles, studding and lots of lacing. I wear mine with dresses or skirts for a super contrasting look. These are your key weekend style.

Sexy Stilettos

Yep, sexy certainly is back. Sky-high super-skinny stilettos also pounded the runway from Saint Laurent to Alexander Wang, and if you’ve got hardcore feet then bag yourself a pair and get ready to STRUT. Ankle boots are the favourite for this style and make the perfect evening accessory.

Over-the-knee and Beyond

Thighs the limit when it comes to these after Balenciaga showed us quite literally THE longest pair of boots we’d seen in a while. We’re super into the slouchy fit this season as you’ll see below, they’re actually much comfier too as they’re not as restricting. You’ll be thrilled there are lots of these around and H&M and Zara have the perfect bargain pairs.
