The 90s are calling and they want their clothes back.... because Topshop has them all.
As you've probably noticed, the 90s era is a huge trend for this upcoming season and, not only has Toppers gone to town on it, they’ve also made it 100 per cent current.
Take, for example, the simple comic book tee; Topshop has brought it back but made it fresh with mature prints and added texture - with lace - that gives them a three-dimensional element. All of which adds up to absolutely must have.
If you’re up for being kitted out with the full mod-rock look (and are brave enough!) then they’ve got the perfect PVC pants to go with it. Personally, I’ve gone for the black as they are way more forgiving (no, I don’t have legs like Kendall Jenner), but if you are blessed with the legs then go all out with the fiery red.

You also might not quite be up for re-vamping the Avril Lavigne look and want something a little more understated. Luckily, Topshop has also gone down the modern relaxed tailoring route. Inspired by a Celine-esque style, you can expect clean-cut a-symmetric skirts with popper detailing, flared sleeve slim-cut knit and quirky tie front shirting. The key to making these pieces work together is to really layer them: wear the stripe shirts over your roll necks and experiment with wearing jeans underneath their silk dresses.
As we get closer to spring, you can’t be afraid to go girly. The Victorian silk ruffle blouse is going to a major wardrobe staple for everyone. Topshop has ensured they have lots of could-be-designer floral styles you won’t be able to resist. Dress these down with a great pair of ankle grazing mom jeans and flat slip-on shoes for a cool, casual vibe.
