Jumpers are one of those wardrobe staples which reaches the catwalks with a statement style every few seasons. Right now, we're all about classic silhouettes and feminine shapes. Here's our pick of the best...
We're all about knitwear right now. The weather has got FREEZING in the last few weeks and what-we-thought-was-a winter wardrobe is struggling, big time.
Our coats aren't quite cutting it, even with winter hats and gloves so now we're all about layering, layering, layering.
We're still all about cropped knits and neat, verging on prim, silhouettes in the office - especially clashing block colour panels, mixed-up threads and technicolour stripes (like that Gucci jumper).
At Chloe and Max Mara, fine sweaters were worn with fluid wide leg trousers and nipped-at-the-waist A-line skirts; a look which we're channeling (when the temperature allows).
Roll neck jumpers are undoubtably our hero piece. On the front row, they were being artfully layered over jumpsuits and under sleeveless floor-length dresses, while, on the catwalk, reds and plums were the colours of choice.
In stark contrast were the oversized statement sweaters; a big blogger look, seen on Chiara Ferrigni and Helena Bordon, and worn with contrastingly low-key denim. (A firm favourite Monday to Sunday.)
