He’s one of the most, if not THE most, eligible bachelors in the world, so it’s no wonder that Prince Harry and the subject of marriage often go hand-in-hand. While plenty of ladies would give their right arm to be seen on his, he’s admitted he’s still a long way off from securing the marital bliss that his brother, Prince William, has found with his wife, Kate Middleton.
Making it perfectly clear that marriage is the last thing on his mind, the 31-year-old royal set the record straight to a bunch of journos, who just so happened to be accompanying him on his 17-mile trek for his charity, Walking With The Wounded.
When asked if he was ‘any closer’ to settling down, the Prince gave a very matter of fact response:
‘No.’ How’s that for short and sweet?
Don’t worry, he then went on to say: ‘You know, at the end of the day, there are a lot of things to get down before settling down. I've got another seven miles to walk now, which I'm really not looking forward to. Eight? Great! I think everyone looks forward to settling down, but in the meantime it's work as usual, so let's crack on.’
You hear that? Harry’s got WAY better things to do with his time than find himself a bride. He’s committed to his charities, constantly campaigning for those less fortunate than himself and, you know, trying to find the time to be a doting uncle to Prince George and Princess Charlotte. So, why don’t we give the guy a break and focus on those admirable attributes instead of tirelessly pestering him about his relationship status? Just a thought.
