Tight jeans and tops – we all know the winning Kardashian-Jenner wardrobe formula, all too well.
They all used to have a similar thing going on, until August 2015 when Kendall Jenner went rogue with a whole new look.
This was even bigger than that time Kim’s wardrobe got reimagined (read: totally binned and replaced) by Kanye; suddenly she shook off KUWTK-uniform and went all style icon. We’re talking minimalist shapes, classic block colours, timeless pieces, worn with geek chic (very now) glasses and quirky sunglasses. No hint of that off-duty model aesthetic, favoured by her mod squad, either — as we saw after the AW16 shows.
The best thing about Kendall’s new look is it’s capsule wardrobe-friendly; a wool coal, a black roll neck jumper, tailored trousers. These are all multi-wear pieces, and actually possible to recreate on the high street.
Apart from Balmain, Kendall doesn’t have a bank of go-to brands. Givenchy, Saint Laurent, Dior, H&M, Chloe, Cushnie et Ochs, Tom Ford, Sally LaPointe, Solace London - that's just her wardrobe in the last few weeks. (Oh, to be a Jenner.)
Now we know the woman behind Kendall's transformation: meet Monica Rose, the LA-based stylist who has some serious slebs on her books, including the Kardashians, Jenners AND Hadids.
