Kate Middleton, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte may be the cutest family we've ever seen. See the best pics here...

Prince George’s birthday is on 22nd July and the young prince is turning the grand old age of four but this is set to be little George’s busiest year to date.

Following a starring role at his aunty, Pippa Middleton’s wedding as the cutest pageboy to ever grace the land, the young royal has just completed his third royal tour. The boy basically has more air miles than us.

GETTY

This week George has been seen as somewhat reluctant to bask in the limelight whilst visiting Germany and Poland with his family, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and his two year-old sister, Princess Charlotte. George was seen being encouraged by Prince William to greet the delegation parties at the airport whilst his sister took to royal life like a duck to water, curtseying to officials as they left Poland for Germany. It’s all just too cute for literal words!

GETTY

After an action packed week it’s likely that the Prince will retreat with the young royal family for the annual holiday to Balmoral. – there are no beach holidays for this Prince – before the most momentous occasion for any four year-old… the first day of school.

The prince will be attending Thomas’s in London’s Battersea, a private day school, from September onwards. Prince George’s school is a mixed-sex day school which will set the Royal Family back £5,653 a term and the first rule of the school is, “be kind” with pupils discouraged from picking a best friend in case of hurt feelings. There will be no tears in the playground at this school!

A spokesman for Kensington Palace said: "Their Royal Highnesses are delighted to have found a school where they are confident George will have a happy and successful start to his education." The decision goes against the Royal tradition of sending young Princes to all boy schools, just as Princes William and Harry did following in their father, Prince Charles’ footsteps. Get ready for that first day at school snap guys!
